Following a solidarity message of hope to the Ogoni people by Nigerian President Bola Tinubu commemorating the
2024 Ogoni Martyrs Remembrance Day, the Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) is thanking the President for the recognition and hope given to their people.
President of the Group, Olu Wai-Ogosu made this known in Port Harcourt during a Press briefing.
Mr Wai-Ogosu requested that the judgement which found Ken Saro-Wiwa and 8 others guilty of treason should be overturned and that 4 other elders be given a befitting burial, among other demands.
