One participant was seriously injured after being gored in the face during the famous San Fermín Festival in Pamplona, as thousands gathered for one of Spain’s most iconic and dangerous annual events.
According to local health officials, the runner sustained facial injuries after being struck by one of the bulls during the morning bull run, known as the encierro.
