Hip-hop mogul Sean (Diddy) Combs faces new allegations as part of seven lawsuits filed Sunday night. One suit accuses Combs, along with an unnamed male celebrity, of drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl, while an unnamed female celebrity allegedly watched. The incident reportedly occurred around September 2000, following an after-party associated with the MTV Video Music Awards.
According to the lawsuit, the girl was invited to the after-party by a limousine driver who claimed to work for Combs, stating she “fit what Diddy was looking for.” After being asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, the plaintiff alleges she began feeling unwell after consuming a drink and was later assaulted in a bedroom. The lawsuit claims the traumatic experience led to long-term emotional distress.
Combs, currently facing charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, has denied the allegations. His legal team has called the lawsuits part of a “reckless media circus.” Combs remains in custody after a court denied his request for bail, citing him as a potential danger to the community.
For support related to sexual assault, resources are available through the Government of Canada or the Ending Violence Association of Canada.
