UNICEF has donated medical supplies, including 30 acute watery diarrhoea kits and 50 cholera beds, valued at over sixty-nine thousand Dollars to tackle the cholera crisis in Nigeria’s Northeast State of Borno.
The donation, according to UNICEF aims to enhance the capacity of health facilities in Borno State, which has been struggling to manage the increasing number of cholera cases.

Local health authorities expressed gratitude for UNICEF’s support, highlighting the urgent need for more resources to mitigate the outbreak and provide effective treatment for those affected.
Rownak Khan, is the Deputy Representative, of UNICEF Nigeria and Dr. Abubakar Hassan, is a Representative of the Commissioner of Health, Borno State.
