The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has assured residents of maximum security during Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.
Mr Philip Ayuba, Deputy Commandant, General Operation Headquarters, Abuja, gave the assurance on Friday in Akure the Ondo State capital while addressing newsmen on the corps preparation ahead of the election.
Ayuba, who said he was in the state on the directive of the NSCDC Commandant, General, Abubakar Audi, said adequate security was in place to ensure the election was free, fair and credible.
