Nigerians have been called to support adolescent girls from less privileged homes as they strive to maintain good menstrual hygiene.

This call was made by the Framazaaz Foundation during the distribution of sanitary kits to the female students of the Government Secondary School Kubwa, located at the Bwari Area council of Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital.

The gesture which received commendation from students and staff of the school is expected to help the girls avoid days out of school due to the high costs of Sanitary pads, occasioned by the rise in the cost of goods in the country
