Nigeria’s federal government says that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Insurance Commission in conjunction with the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria to train and equip 1 million youths with skills in the insurance subsector.

The minister of state for youth development who made this known in Abuja, says that the program is aimed at building the capacity of youths with adequate knowledge and create jobs across the 774 local government areas of the country.
