Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Nigeria’s Adamawa State has empowered ten thousand women with fifty thousand naira each to support their businesses

Governor Fintiri said this is the second phase of the empowerment. He disclosed that his administration will continue to empower the people of the state in order to reduce poverty in the land.

The governor made this known at the Mahmoud Ribadu Square in Yola, the State capital. He however encouraged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the the money.

Also, the governor presented twenty seven school buses across the twenty one local government to ease the students movement.
