Vanessa Trump, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 48-year-old shared the news Wednesday in a statement posted on Instagram, saying she is currently working closely with her doctors on a treatment plan.
“I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote.
Trump also disclosed that she underwent a medical procedure earlier this week and thanked her doctors for their care.
Despite the diagnosis, she said she remains optimistic and supported by loved ones.
“I’m focused and hopeful,” she wrote, adding that she is grateful for the support of her family and asked for privacy as she continues treatment and recovery.
Vanessa Trump was married to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, from 2005 until their divorce in 2018. The former couple share five children together.
She is currently in a relationship with golf legend Tiger Woods.
Among those publicly offering support was Ivanka Trump, who responded with a message of encouragement on social media.
