President Tinubu Signs N70,000 New Minimum Wage Bill Into Law

President Bola Tinubu has signed the minimum wage bill into law.

This ends months of deliberations between government authorities, the organised labour and stakeholders.

The president signed the bill on Monday at the State House in Abuja.

This comes days after the National Assembly passed the N70,000 per month minimum wage bill.

The law is reviewable every three years.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio led National Assembly leaders to the signing ceremony.

President Tinubu thanked the National Assembly for accelerating the passage of the law.
