The bizarre play unfolded in the fourth inning when Colorado’s TJ Rumfield launched a deep fly ball to right field. Adell appeared to have positioned himself for a routine catch, but the ball clipped the edge of his glove before striking his head and ricocheting over the fence for a solo home run.
