APC Calls For State Of Emergency in Rivers

In a dramatic appeal, the All Progressives Congress leadership in Rivers State has called on the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in the region, citing escalating violence and chaos.
During a press conference held in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Chief Tony Okocha, sounded the alarm about the dire situation.
He noted that Rivers state is at war, emphasizing that the individuals responsible for the widespread mayhem and loss of life are well-known.
Chief Okocha highlighted the urgent need for federal intervention, stating that declaring a state of emergency is the only way to curb the ongoing violence and restore order in Rivers State.
