A former spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign Organization in the 2023 Presidential election, Daniel Bwala, has criticized the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar for supporting the proposed nationwide protest.
Bwala who addressed State House reporters shortly after meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa Abuja said the planned protest was not necessary.
Describing the intended protest as politically motivated, Bwala said members of the opposition party must see beyond politics and rally around President Bola Tinubu in his desire to transform the economy of Nigeria.
Bwala also implored Nigerians to give the President more time to actualise his goals for the country as the Number one citizen was not oblivious to the economic hardship.
The Former spokesman to the Presidential Candidate of PDP also opened up on his defection plans, saying he would soon cross over to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
