Taylor Swift has claimed the number one spot on Spotify’s first-ever ranking of the most streamed artists of all time, reinforcing her dominance in the global music industry.

Close behind is Bad Bunny, who has consistently rivaled Swift in streaming success. The two global superstars have traded the top position in recent years, with Bad Bunny—born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—holding the title of Spotify’s most-streamed artist in 2025 for a record fourth time.

Drake ranks third on the all-time list, followed by a lineup of major global acts including The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Eminem, and Kanye West rounding out the top ten.

Spotify released the rankings as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, though it did not disclose detailed methodology behind the data. The company also published all-time lists for the most streamed albums and songs, highlighting the evolution of global listening habits in the streaming era.

Among albums, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti leads as the most streamed project of all time, followed by Starboy from The Weeknd and ÷ (Divide) by Ed Sheeran. Other notable entries include SOUR by Olivia Rodrigo and After Hours by The Weeknd.

In the songs category, Blinding Lights by The Weeknd holds the top position, followed by Shape of You by Ed Sheeran and Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood. Additional high-ranking tracks include As It Was by Harry Styles and Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.

Streaming continues to dominate the global music economy, accounting for the vast majority of industry revenue—over 80% in the United States alone. As the world’s largest streaming platform, Spotify holds more than 31% of global market share, with over 750 million users and nearly 300 million subscribers across more than 180 markets.

The rankings underline the growing influence of streaming platforms in shaping music success, with artists like Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny leading a new era defined by digital consumption and global reach.
