Winnipeg Police Investigate Blood Found on Wolseley Street, No Victim Identified

A section of Winnipeg’s Wolseley neighborhood was cordoned off as police conducted an investigation.

Yellow police tape surrounded the intersection of Dundurn Place and Walnut Street, just north of Wolseley Avenue, on Sunday. Officers were present past 1 p.m., with some seen knocking on doors in the area.

Initially, a Winnipeg Police spokesperson stated there was no information to provide but assured there was no threat to public safety. By Monday, police confirmed they canvassed the area after reports of blood on the roadway, though no victim has been identified. The investigation remains ongoing.
