Vitaly Beckman, a magician from New Westminster, has once again left Penn & Teller in awe with his mind-boggling trick on the show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Beckman’s performance was so intricate and original that even Penn admitted, “This is so complicated and so original, we don’t have any experience with it.”
In his illusion, Beckman had host Brooke Burke arrange various items, including fruit and a clock, in any order she chose. Afterward, Beckman revealed an oil painting that perfectly matched the setup, leaving the legendary duo stumped. Beckman explained that the trick blends engineering and art, combining invention and magic behind the scenes.
This marks Beckman’s third victory on Fool Us, as he continues to mystify the duo with his uncrackable tricks. The recognition has opened many doors for Beckman, who is now touring internationally and will perform at Penn & Teller’s Las Vegas show on April 26.
