The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, revealed excerpts from the meeting in a statement titled, ‘President Tinubu receives UK Foreign Secretary, welcomes new strategic partnership agreement for shared growth.’

Tinubu said his government would support the partnership for growth.

The President urged the United Kingdom to strengthen relations with Africa by showing more interest in some of the conflicts affecting countries such as the Republic of Sudan, particularly over humanitarian issues.
