President Bola Tinubu has played host to the outgoing Head of the Federal Civil Service, Folasade Yemi-Esan, alongside the incoming, Esther Walson-Jack.
After meeting with the Nigerian President at the State House, Abuja, Esan praised the opportunity to share the President’s vision for the country and the civil service with the incoming Head of Service.
Esan commended the President for facilitating a smooth handover, allowing Walson-Jack to learn the ropes and prepare for her new role.
Reflecting on several weeks of working with the new Head of Service, Yemi Esan expressed her confidence that Mrs. Walson-Jack is undoubtedly capable of managing the service with exceptional professionalism and empathy.
Speaking on her appointment, the new Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, said she had assured the President of not disappointing the mandate.
Walson-Jack also promised to work cordially with the entire civil service to deliver on the renewed hope agenda.
After more than five years in office, Yemi-Esan hand over to her successor as she retires from the Federal Civil Service.
