Amid protests across the nation, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri addressed the pressing issues of hunger and poverty in Nigeria. During a Sunday broadcast from the council chamber of the Government House in Yola, the state capital, Fintiri acknowledged the reasons behind the protests.
Governor Fintiri appealed to the protesters to suspend their demonstrations and allow the current government time to address their concerns. He assured the public that his administration is committed to inclusive governance and is taking significant steps to address the challenges faced by the people.
He outlined plans to empower ten thousand unemployed individuals and ensure the availability of farm inputs to all farmers across the state. “We are doing everything possible to carry everyone along,” Fintiri stated, emphasizing the government’s efforts to meet the needs of its citizens.
