Senator Ali Ndume, the sacked Chief Whip of the 10th National Assembly, has declined an offer from the APC to serve as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tourism.
In a press conference with journalists at his Maiduguri residence, Ndume explained that, after reviewing the circumstances surrounding his removal, he believes his actions did not justify his dismissal.
Senator Ndume broke his silence on his removal as Senate Chief Whip, stating that he does not believe his actions warranted his removal.
In a statement made at his country home in Maiduguri on Friday, Ndume claimed that he did not say anything wrong and stands by his statements in the interview that led to his ouster.
