The Nigerian government has directed the Presidential Committee on CNG to expedite its activities to make buses and conversion kits available to most Nigerians.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mr Mohammed Idris, who disclosed while briefing State House correspondents after the FEC meeting chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja, said the CNG buses would be made available to Nigerians soon as promised by the federal government.
The minister said the council also took note of the complaints amongst Nigerians on the issues of transportation, food prices and food shortages, among others.
He said the federal government was doing all it can to ensure that food is put on the table of Nigerians.
He said the buses will facilitate easier movement of people and goods around the states.
