The Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic Yola, Prof. Mohammed Tangos, has announced the successful restoration of electricity across the institution. In a press briefing, Prof. Tangos assured the public and the academic community that the management is fully committed to maintaining the operational stability of the institution.
“We are pleased to inform you that the electricity issue has been resolved, and all systems are now fully operational. The management is actively monitoring the situation to ensure that such disruptions do not occur in the future,” said Prof. Tangos.
The Rector’s statement comes after days of power outages that had disrupted academic activities, sparking concerns among students and staff. Prof. Tangos expressed gratitude to the technical team for their swift response and reassured stakeholders that the management is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
The Rector also took the opportunity to outline the institution’s plans for future infrastructure improvements, emphasizing the importance of consistent power supply to the academic environment.
“The management is not only focused on resolving current challenges but also on implementing long-term solutions to enhance the institution’s infrastructure,” Prof. Tangos added.
The resolution of the electricity issue has been met with relief from students and staff, who are now able to resume their academic and administrative duties without further interruption.
