The Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, and his counterpart, Bello Matawalle, have condoled with President Bola Tinubu over the demise of Chief Of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja who passed away on Tuesday night.
Describing the death of COAS Lagbaja as tragic, the Minister narrated the demise of the Chief Of Army Staff as a great loss to the nation.
He recounted Lt. General Lagbaja as a gallant officer and a warrior who served in so many theaters and performed credibly at service.
Badaru prayed for the repose of Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja’s soul.
Also, the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, lauded COAS service to the nation.
