The Armed Forces of Nigeria sees a shortage of food across the country soon, following the attacks by armed bandits and Fulani herdsmen on farmers across Nigeria.

Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba disclosed this during the second quarterly briefing on the operations of the military across all theatres. He explained that the Nigerian Military will not allow any act that will lead to food shortage in the country.
In the second quarter of this year, General Buba noted that troops neutralized 2,245 terrorists, arrested 3,682 suspected terrorists and other criminal elements as well as rescued 1,993 kidnapped hostages. According to him, troops recovered 2,783 weapons, and 64,547 ammunition and denied the oil theft of an estimated sum of over N10 billion naira.
He called on the citizens to imbibe the culture of SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING. General Buba assured that the military will do everything within the bounds of the law to make the Nation safe for citizens.
