The Governor of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki has commended the committment of the Inspector Genetal of Police, IGP to support the peace process and level playing field for all candidates in the September 21 gubernatorial election.
This was part of the resolution of members of the Edo State PDP caucus after a meeting at the instance of leader of the party and Governor Of Edo State Mr Godwin Obaseki

Briefing journalists after the meeting Gov. Obaseki commended efforts by the IGP Kayode Egbetokun and preparations of INEC to ensure a credible election on Saturday.
Gov. Obaseki also expressed readiness of the PDP for Saturdays election.
He gave an update on the signing of the peace Accord.
PDP Caucus Leaders from the three Senatorial Districts attended the meeting.
