The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of 21 Federal Revenue Commissioners.
Their confirmation follows the submission and consideration of the report by Chairman of the Joint Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs and Finance, Sen. Abdullahi Abubakar (Kebbi North) during plenary on Wednesday.
In his remarks, the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio urged the new Commissioners to give their best in the job ahead of them, however, asked them to be good ambassadors of their states and the country.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu had appointed 21 federal Commissioners to the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, pending their confirmation by the Senate.
