It has gone as high as N850 in some filling stations and over N1000 in the black market.<br \/>\nOnly a few fuel stations are dispensing the product, mainly the state-run Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPCL stations. This is coming barely six days before the commencement of the planned nationwide protest over economic challenges.<br \/>\nMany filling stations which seemed to have run out of stock, were seen under lock and key.<br \/>\nOthers shut their gates against the public who were hoping to get some petrol.<br \/>\nThere were long queues as panic buying continued.
