This week is critical for Biden as he will face a fresh scrutiny at a NATO summit in Washington.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I am firmly committed to staying in the race,&#8221; Biden wrote in the letter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It is time to come together, move forward as a unified party and defeat Donald Trump,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s time for it to end.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The embattled president also followed up by making a call into a morning program on television, complaining of being frustrated by the elites in the party.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Any of these guys that don&#8217;t think I should run &#8212; run against me.
