{"id":2659,"date":"2024-06-21T21:57:47","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T21:57:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swifteradio.com\/update\/restore\/?p=2659"},"modified":"2024-06-21T22:04:03","modified_gmt":"2024-06-21T22:04:03","slug":"we-will-not-evict-ado-bayero-from-palace-police-ignore-governors-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swifteradio.com\/update\/we-will-not-evict-ado-bayero-from-palace-police-ignore-governors-order\/","title":{"rendered":"We Will Not Evict Ado Bayero From Palace \u2013 Police Defy Governor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The Police Commissioner in Kano State, Usaini Gumel, has said the Police will not evict the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero from his Nasarawa Palace.<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mr Gumel said the Police would not carry out the eviction order due to the legal tussle surrounding the matter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The police boss said that the Kano State government had filed an eviction order before the state High Court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The state government directed the Police in the state to evict Bayero from his Nasarawa Palace to pave the way for renovations.
