Woolery, who in later years became a prominent conservative voice, died at his Texas home with his wife, Kristen, by his side, according to his podcast co-host, Mark Young. \u201cChuck was a dear friend and brother and a tremendous man of faith; life will not be the same without him,\u201d Young shared.<\/p>\n

Woolery’s vibrant television career spanned decades, earning him induction into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in 2007 and a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1978. His career highlight, “Love Connection,” introduced viewers to his famous \u201c2 and 2\u201d phrase, a time signature known to millions. His distinctive, charming hosting style made him a household name, especially during the 1980s, as he juggled multiple shows, including “Scrabble.”<\/p>\n

In addition to television, Woolery’s career included a music background; he performed as part of the psychedelic rock duo, The Avant-Garde, known for their hit “Naturally Stoned.” Over time, Woolery transitioned from music and TV to political podcasting, launching “Blunt Force Truth” in 2014. He became known for his outspoken conservative views, often criticizing liberals, supporting Donald Trump, and questioning government narratives on issues like COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Woolery\u2019s journey from game show host to podcasting icon reflects a legacy that left a lasting impact on television and media. He is survived by his wife Kristen, and children Michael, Sean, and Melissa.<\/p>\n
