Rapper Offset has been released from the hospital after suffering a non-life-threatening injury during a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the artist, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, confirmed Friday that he is recovering well after receiving medical treatment.<\/p>\n
\u201cOffset has been released from the hospital and he is up and walking,\u201d the spokesperson said in a statement. \u201cWe’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him.\u201d<\/p>\n
The shooting occurred on April 6 outside the popular South Florida entertainment venue, though authorities have not publicly released extensive details about the incident.<\/p>\n
Offset is best known as a member of the Grammy-nominated hip-hop trio Migos and for his successful solo music career. He has been a major figure in the rap industry for more than a decade, known for hits such as \u201cBad and Boujee,\u201d \u201cRic Flair Drip,\u201d and numerous collaborations with top artists.<\/p>\n
Officials have not yet said whether any suspects have been arrested or what led to the shooting outside the casino.<\/p>\n
