In return, Zelensky is seeking support to strengthen Ukraine\u2019s own defences against the ongoing Russian invasion, specifically requesting access to air defence missiles that Ukraine currently lacks.<\/p>\n
Several Ukrainian drone companies, including Kvertus and TAF Industries, confirmed that Gulf states such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE have approached them for assistance. However, exports require government approval in Kyiv due to political and security considerations.<\/p>\n
The potential deals come amid reports that the US is considering diverting arms intended for Ukraine to the Middle East due to the war in Iran, making Ukraine\u2019s drone cooperation even more strategic.<\/p>\n
