    Abdul’s Straight Up! To Canada tour was scheduled to kick off in Victoria on September 25 and span 21 Canadian cities, including Edmonton, Regina, Ottawa, and Saint John, before concluding in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on October 26. In addition to the Canadian dates, Abdul also canceled shows in North Dakota and Alaska.

    In her message to fans, Abdul apologized for the disappointment and expressed her eagerness to return to the stage once she is fully recovered. “I want to extend my deepest apologies to all my amazing fans in Canada and the U.S. You mean the world to me, and this truly breaks my heart,” she wrote. “I’ve been looking forward to the energy, love, and connection we always share when we’re together.”

    Abdul promised to return “stronger and better, dancing my heart out and performing for all of you very soon.” Ticket holders can obtain refunds from the original point of purchase.
