General Taoreed Lagbaja was laid to rest in Abuja,<\/b> Nigeria&#8217;s federal capital.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The burial took place at the National Cemetery in the nation\u2019s capital marking an end to\u00a0two days of funeral rites\u00a0that began in Lagos earlier in the week.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">His body was lowered to Mother Earth at exactly 4:41 pm in the ceremony that lasted four for hours.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Lagbaja\u2019s casket, draped in Nigeria\u2019s green and white colours, arrived at the cemetery around 3 pm in a white funeral wagon after a funeral service at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Several dignitaries attended the event. President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Acting Chief of Army Staff Lt.Gen.
