Transcend Cruises has announced the names of its first two purpose-built river cruise ships, tailored exclusively for the B2B group travel market and set to launch in 2026. The ships—Transcend Connect and Transcend Evolve—will operate on a charter-only basis, reinforcing the company’s focus on curated, immersive group experiences.
Transcend Connect is expected to debut in April 2026, with Transcend Evolve following later in the second quarter. According to Chief Visionary Officer Matthew Shollar, the names symbolize the company’s mission: Connect speaks to creating meaningful interactions among guests and teams, while Evolve highlights the transformative journey guests embark on and the broader evolution of group cruising.
