The Baldwins Unveil Raw and Emotional Reality Series on TLC

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are stepping into the spotlight with their new TLC reality series, “The Baldwins,” offering a deeply personal glimpse into their lives, complete with the triumphs, challenges, and chaos. The show promises an “intimate, behind-the-scenes look” at their family dynamics, as described by the network.

A significant aspect of the series will address the aftermath of Alec Baldwin’s involvement in the tragic “Rust” shooting. The October 2021 incident on the New Mexico set of the Western film led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuries to director Joel Souza. Baldwin, both the film’s co-producer and lead actor, faced involuntary manslaughter charges that were ultimately dismissed during his trial in July 2024.

Set to premiere February 23, the first episode captures the Baldwin family bracing for the trial while striving to maintain normalcy for their seven children. The show highlights their emotional journey, including moments of raw vulnerability as the couple reflects on the impact of the tragedy.

In a trailer released Monday, Hilaria Baldwin is heard saying, “A son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy. This is never something to forget, and we’re trying to parent through it.” Alec Baldwin adds, “Honestly, from the bottom of my soul, I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have you and these kids.”

The “Rust” film premiered at a Polish film festival in November, though Baldwin did not attend.
