Tesla Cybertruck Recall Expands in Canada Over Loose Exterior Panels

Transport Canada has issued an updated recall on Tesla Cybertrucks due to concerns that exterior stainless-steel trim panels may loosen and detach, posing a potential crash risk. The recall affects 1,995 Cybertrucks from the 2024 and 2025 model years, specifically those manufactured between Nov. 13, 2023, and Feb. 27, 2024.

Owners of affected vehicles can continue driving but will be contacted by Tesla for a free repair appointment when replacement parts become available. The recall follows a similar action in the U.S., where approximately 46,000 Cybertrucks are impacted.

Tesla owners can check their vehicle identification number (VIN) through Tesla’s recall search tool or contact the company at 1-877-798-3752 for further assistance.
