Travelers near the Ottawa-Rockland border faced major disruptions Tuesday night after a deadly collision on Highway 174. The crash, involving a car and a tractor-trailer, occurred just before 10 p.m. between Canaan and Old Montreal roads, prompting a swift response from emergency crews.
A 40-year-old man, the lone occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released. The driver of the tractor-trailer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
