Porter Airlines has officially launched new coast-to-coast air service, with inaugural nonstop daily flights connecting Hamilton to Halifax and Vancouver starting June 3. This expansion coincides with completed terminal upgrades at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. Beginning June 11, daily flights from Hamilton to Calgary and Edmonton will also commence.
Andrew Pierce, Porter’s vice president of network planning and reporting, highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing elevated service to Hamilton travelers, emphasizing convenience and network growth opportunities across North America from Hamilton airport (YHM).
Porter operates its flights with the 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, featuring no middle seats, free WiFi, and complimentary beer, wine, and premium Canadian snacks. The PorterReserve fare offers travelers options such as fresh meals, extra legroom, priority check-in, and checked baggage, while PorterClassic seats allow customized selections.
