Omo-Agege Confident of APC’s Victory in Delta 2027, Calls for Party Unity

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the former Deputy Senate President and gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s ability to secure victory in the 2027 elections. He emphasized that unity among party members is crucial to achieving this goal and urged stakeholders to remain committed to strengthening the party at all levels.

APC Poised for Victory in Delta State

Speaking at a strategic meeting with APC leaders and supporters, Omo-Agege underscored the party’s growing influence in Delta, stating that the APC is better positioned than ever to take over governance in the oil-rich state. He highlighted the progress made during the 2023 elections, where the APC made significant inroads despite the challenges faced.

“We came very close in the last election, and our performance showed that the people of Delta are ready for a change. The APC remains the best alternative for good governance, and we will continue to build on our successes,” Omo-Agege stated.

Call for Unity and Grassroots Mobilization

Omo-Agege stressed that internal divisions have been a major obstacle to the APC’s success in previous elections. He urged party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters to put aside personal differences and work towards a common goal.

“The only way we can win in 2027 is by staying united. There is no room for factionalism or infighting. We must focus on strengthening our grassroots presence and ensuring that our message of progress and development reaches every community in Delta State,” he added.

Criticism of PDP’s Governance in Delta

The APC chieftain criticized the current administration led by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating that the state has not witnessed meaningful development despite its vast resources. He accused the PDP of mismanaging Delta’s potential and failing to address critical issues such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education.

“Our people deserve better than what they are getting under the PDP. The APC is ready to offer a government that truly serves the interests of the people, prioritizing development, security, and economic growth,” Omo-Agege asserted.

2027 Elections: A Defining Moment for Delta State

With the 2027 general elections on the horizon, political analysts believe that Delta State will be a key battleground. Omo-Agege and the APC leadership are expected to intensify efforts in mobilizing supporters, engaging in grassroots campaigns, and consolidating alliances to challenge the PDP’s dominance.

As the race for 2027 heats up, the call for unity within the APC will play a significant role in determining the party’s success. With a strong strategy and a united front, Omo-Agege believes that the APC is on course to clinch victory and usher in a new era for Delta State.
