Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Unveils Next-Gen AI and Robotics Innovations at GTC 2025

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang opened the GTC 2025 AI developer conference with bold predictions, declaring that artificial intelligence is at an “inflection point.” During his keynote, Huang announced Nvidia’s latest advancements, including new GPU architectures—Blackwell Ultra and Rubin AI—set for release between 2025 and 2027.

Huang emphasized AI’s evolution from perception-based models to generative and agentic AI, with robotics as the next frontier. He introduced Isaac GR00T N1, an open-source foundation model for humanoid robots, and highlighted the importance of synthetic data generation for AI training. Nvidia’s Cosmos AI and Omniverse tools will play a key role in training AI systems, with companies like General Motors integrating these technologies into autonomous vehicle development.

The keynote also featured the unveiling of Halos, an AI-powered safety system for self-driving cars, and Newton, an open-source physics engine developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind and Disney Research. Huang concluded the presentation by showcasing Blue, a generalist robot designed for real-world applications, signaling the dawn of a new era in robotics.
