Team New Nigeria (TNN) has officially introduced its symbols and reaffirmed its dedication to forming a political party to tackle Nigeria’s pressing issues, including economic hardship and insecurity.
At a public event held at Kano Pillars Stadium, TNN President Modibbo Farakwai presented the group’s motto, “Unite and Rebuild the Nation,” alongside its slogan, “Greater Nigeria.” The newly unveiled flag features green and white colors with an emblem of hands clasped in red at the center and “TNN” inscribed in white on a black background.
Farakwai explained the symbolism behind the colors: green represents growth, responsibility, and sacrifice; white signifies peace, redemption, and unity; red stands for solidarity, courage, and love; while black embodies emancipation, justice, and honor.
As part of its structural expansion, Farakwai inaugurated a state harmonization, structure, and mobilization committee for the North-West states, including Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kaduna, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara. This committee will supervise political activities and establish 13-member steering committees in each local government area.
He further disclosed that TNN has already enlisted 43 million members and is fully prepared to register as a political party committed to upholding human rights and good governance.
TNN’s National Chairman, Prof. Garba Waziri, called on committee members to strengthen grassroots political structures, encourage public participation in decision-making, and uphold integrity to foster national unity.
