Michael Bublé Returns to Host the 2025 Juno Awards with Sum 41 Induction Highlight

Canadian music sensation Michael Bublé, known for his smooth vocals and playful personality, is set to host the 54th Juno Awards in Vancouver. Announced by event organizers on Friday, the Burnaby, B.C.-born artist will take the stage for Canada’s biggest night in music on March 30, 2025. This marks Bublé’s third time hosting the awards and his second time hosting in his home city of Vancouver, a milestone he shares with only a select few, including Burton Cummings.

In a recent interview with CBC News, Bublé expressed his excitement: “It’s my third time — second time in Vancouver. It’s so nice to be representing the country that I love so much.” He also hinted at bringing fresh, relaxed energy to the show, adding that he aims for a “less corporate” vibe, filled with humor and skits that showcase his fun-loving style. As fans know, Bublé has a playful relationship with sparkling water brand Bubly, and he hinted that some Bubly-inspired antics, perhaps involving his The Voice co-host Snoop Dogg, might be in store.

The 2025 Junos will also see Ontario rockers Sum 41 inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Known for their contributions to punk rock, they will join other legendary Canadian artists like Alanis Morissette, Barenaked Ladies, and Maestro Fresh Wes. Additionally, Live Nation Canada chair Riley O’Connor will be honored with the prestigious Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award, recognizing his significant influence on Canada’s music industry.
