Masked Gang Targets Two Manitoba Gas Stations in Armed Robberies

RCMP is investigating two armed robberies at gas stations in Manitoba, believed to be carried out by the same group of four masked individuals.

On February 7, around 2:30 a.m., the group entered a gas station in Teulon, north of Winnipeg, and demanded cash and cigarettes. Dressed in dark clothing and with their faces concealed by balaclavas, one suspect brandished a gun while another carried a baseball bat. They fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes in a dark blue 2017 or 2018 C300 Mercedes-Benz sedan with an unknown license plate.

Two days later, around 10:30 p.m., a similar robbery occurred at a gas station on Swan Lake First Nation. The suspects, dressed the same, carried handguns and a baseball bat, fleeing with more cash and cigarettes in the same type of vehicle.

No injuries were reported in either incident. Swan Lake is approximately 75 kilometers southwest of Portage la Prairie, while Teulon is about 45 kilometers north of Winnipeg.

RCMP encourages anyone with information to call 204-467-5591 or the Manitoba First Nations Police Service at 204-836-2630.
