JoJo Siwa Confirms Relationship with Chris Hughes After ‘Celebrity Big Brother’

JoJo Siwa, the 22-year-old star known from Dance Moms and So You Think You Can Dance, has opened up about her new romantic relationship with former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes. The couple met during a recent season of the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother, where their connection quickly deepened.

In an interview with The Guardian, Siwa described their bond as “a beautiful development” and confirmed she is “absolutely head over heels” for Hughes, affectionately calling him “sweet Christopher.” Their closeness was visible during the show, especially when Hughes defended Siwa against actor Mickey Rourke’s inappropriate comments about her sexuality. Siwa, who identifies as queer, said their relationship is genuine, dismissing speculation that they were playing it up for the cameras.

The relationship stirred public interest, partly because Siwa entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in a relationship with Australian actor Kath Ebbs. After the show ended, Ebbs shared on social media that Siwa had broken up with them at the wrap party, citing Siwa’s realization during filming that Ebbs was not the person she wanted to be with long-term.
