Glastonbury Festival is gearing up for a spectacular summer before taking a scheduled break in 2026 to allow Worthy Farm’s land to recover from the massive influx of 200,000 festivalgoers.
Organizers have revealed the highly anticipated lineup for the world-renowned music festival, set to take place from June 25 to June 29. Headlining the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday night will be English band The 1975, while American singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo will take center stage on Sunday evening.
Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young, 79, was previously confirmed as the Saturday night headliner, and Scottish icon Rod Stewart will perform in the coveted legends slot on Sunday afternoon.
Charli XCX, fresh off her five Brit Award wins and the success of her “Brat summer” movement, will take over the Other Stage on Saturday night. Meanwhile, English electronic pioneers The Prodigy will close the Other Stage on Sunday, marking their first Glastonbury performance since the passing of frontman Keith Flint in 2019.
Canadian rock icon Alanis Morissette is set to make her Glastonbury debut, while the recently reunited Scissor Sisters will also take the stage. No major performances are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, though festivalgoers can enjoy various unofficial events as they set up camp.
One of the most talked-about acts is The 1975, led by Matty Healy. Despite their past festival headlining experience in the UK and beyond, this marks their first time leading Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage. The announcement comes shortly after a London judge ruled that Healy and his bandmates were not personally liable for the losses of Malaysia’s Good Vibes Festival, which was shut down in 2023 following Healy’s on-stage protest against the country’s anti-LGBTQ+ laws.
Additional performers will be revealed in the coming weeks, with a resale giving fans another chance to secure tickets. As always, Glastonbury sold out rapidly despite the steep ticket price of nearly £380 ($490). While the cost remains high, festivalgoers will be hoping for one priceless element—good weather and no mud!
