Several school bus routes in and around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are canceled Thursday morning due to hazardous road conditions.
Halton Region: Halton Student Transportation Services has canceled buses in Zones 1, 2, and 3, affecting schools in the Halton District and Halton Catholic school boards. Schools remain open.
Hamilton: The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board has canceled all school buses and closed schools for the day due to inclement weather.
Niagara Region: School buses are canceled for students in the District School Board of Niagara, the Niagara Catholic District School Board, and the Niagara Children’s Centre School Authority. Schools are also closed.
Simcoe County: Bus cancellations impact the south, central, and west regions, but schools remain open.
