At Arabian Travel Market 2025, Emirates hosted a high-level delegation from Jamaica’s Ministry of Tourism to discuss strategic initiatives aimed at boosting travel connectivity and inbound tourism to the island nation. The meeting was held with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and attended by Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.
The Jamaican delegation was led by The Honourable Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, accompanied by Donovan G. White, Director of Tourism at the Jamaica Tourist Board, and Fiona Fennell, Public Relations and Communications Officer.
Discussions focused on enhancing air connectivity from the UAE and wider Emirates network to Jamaica through the airline’s codeshare and interline agreements. Emirates’ partnership with German carrier Condor offers seamless connections via Frankfurt to Montego Bay, with the added convenience of a single ticket and streamlined baggage handling. Additional options include interline flights with United Airlines via Chicago and Houston, and Air Canada through Toronto.
Emirates Skywards loyalty members can earn and redeem miles on all Condor-operated flights to Jamaica, further incentivizing travel to the Caribbean destination. Additionally, Emirates Holidays promotes Jamaica with curated packages featuring premium hotels, adventure experiences, cultural events, and sporting activities.
The partnership reinforces both parties’ commitment to supporting tourism growth and expanding Jamaica’s global reach through enhanced international access.
