Emily Osment has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Jack Anthony, whose real name is Jack Farina, just days before her 33rd birthday. The “Hannah Montana” alum cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to court documents obtained by The Post.
Osment and Anthony tied the knot in a private ceremony on October 12, with her brother, “The Sixth Sense” star Haley Joel Osment, serving as a groomsman. However, their marriage was short-lived, as records show they separated on December 7—less than two months after their wedding.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Osment reflected on the decision, stating, “I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
The former couple, who got engaged at Yosemite National Park in 2023, initially went public with their relationship in October 2021. Despite keeping their romance mostly private, Osment occasionally shared glimpses of their life together on social media.
Legal filings confirm that Osment and Anthony signed a prenuptial agreement in September 2024, which outlines the division of their assets. The “Young Sheldon” actress has requested to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support.
Osment gained fame as Lilly Truscott in Disney’s “Hannah Montana” before leading Freeform’s “Young & Hungry” and later joining “Young Sheldon.” Her latest project, “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” was recently renewed for a second season.
Anthony, a former tech executive, previously worked at Linktree before pursuing a culinary education at the Chef Apprentice School of the Arts.
