The sexual abuse and racketeering trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs intensified Friday as his former girlfriend, testifying under the pseudonym “Jane,” gave harrowing testimony about being coerced into drug-fueled sex marathons. Jane told jurors Combs ignored her pleas and signals to stop, pressuring her to perform for hours or even days, sometimes with multiple men, while he watched.
Her account closely mirrors previous testimony from singer Cassie Ventura, who also accused Combs of coercion and sexual exploitation, using his wealth and control to manipulate women. Jane described feeling trapped, dependent on Combs for housing, and silenced emotionally. “He would shut me down,” she said, describing what she called “dark, sleazy” encounters that left her numb and broken.
Prosecutors presented an audio clip from inside one of the sex events, showing how Combs allegedly overrode Jane’s attempts to insist on condom use, calling it something “he didn’t want to see.” Jane further testified that Combs used her as a drug mule, having her carry ecstasy pills in luggage on flights between Los Angeles and Miami.
While the defense claims the sexual encounters were consensual, describing them as part of a “swinger lifestyle,” they face growing testimony from women who say Combs used power and drugs to strip them of consent. The defense has attempted to undermine the credibility of these witnesses, including graphic designer Bryana Bongolan, who testified that Combs once dangled her off a balcony.
If convicted of operating a racketeering enterprise centered on sexual abuse, Combs could face 15 years to life in prison.
